12th August 2006 Windsurfing: Blithfield Wind Direction: N Wind Stength: F 3-4 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: Warm Weather: Cloudy / bright Max Speed: Distance Covered: Theyr was forcasting F4 which would give 5.3m conditions at Blithfield in NW winds, but the wind had swung round to the North which makes it gusty and more like 6.5 or 8m. Rigged 8.2m for the fist time since March and found I had forgotten how much work 8m is. Diablo pumps up easily though so I was flying most of the time. Gybing felt very stiff with the big sail but I made a few planing exits and it was good to be out blasting around. |
